We were super stoked to get this in the mail. It’s literature on our little man, Rollie, who we recently starting supporting through Arms of Love in the Philippines. In short, Rollie’s been abandoned and abused, and Arms of Love has taken him into their family.
I can’t get it out of my heart and mind that we need to help the down and out and love them like crazy. For a lot of us, it wouldn’t be a huge stretch to support those in need. Or maybe you and a couple buddies could pool together your resources and show some love to someone who really needs it! It’s just a matter of doing it.
Something that’s held us back from sponsoring a child is not knowing if an organization is legit. We want to know our money is going straight to these kids’ care. One of our friends has seen firsthand what Arms of Love does and can vouch for its legitimacy. Other organizations we know to be trustworthy are:
Food For The Hungry
World Vision
Convoy of Hope
Maybe you can get involved and make a difference!
