After 8 years of photographing weddings, they still evoke much emotion in me. I had the privilege of being Chan’s MohPho – maid of honor + photographer. So, you know, using my camera to hide my tears may have happened a time or two…
Chan + Justin’s wedding reinforced my love for destination weddings. Your wedding day flies by in a wonderful blur, so having a wedding WEEK is pretty rad. Being in a tropical locale with all the people you love doesn’t suck so much either. :) And if you serve a smorgasbord of delicious food on the beach after your ceremony, I will declare it the perfect wedding. (Writing this close to lunch is a mistake, but guac deserves my devotion.)
Chan + Justin’s vows to each other were in the forefront of my mind as I prepped this post. They wrote their vows separately, saving them as a surprise for each other at the ceremony. Their words and promises to each other were distinctly similar, filled with love, respect + sacred promises. Tears were a-flowin’.
